UOWD is seeking applications to fill one Receptionist position.

The Receptionist is responsible for providing exceptional customer care and clerical skills with strong expertise in performing front desk operations to manage reception operations in a timely, professional, and courteous manner. Being the face and voice of UOWD, the individual will meet and greet visitors as well as operate the main campus switchboard. Proven efficiency in operating a multi-line telephone system, providing clerical support and dealing capably with customers and queries. 

The role works independently and requires initiative to ensure all students and visitors are directed to the correct unit/department.

• 2 years administrative or customer services experience

• Tertiary qualification in a related field

• Ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of guests and clients in an enthusiastic and highly professional manner

• Be able to speak clearly, persuasively and authoritatively.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

• Excellent communication and listening skills

• Ability to be proactive and solution orientated to make sound decisions or recommendations

• Handling tasks in an organized and efficient manner

• Experience with inbound and/or outbound call centers.

• Additional training/experience in customer service preferred.

The successful candidates will receive a remuneration package which includes an attractive tax free salary in the range of AED 72,000- AED 84,000 per annum, five weeks of paid leave per year, annual air ticket, private medical insurance for self and eligible dependents, life & disability policy, professional development assistance, education allowance for up to 3 eligible children, professional development and fee waiver for self and dependents looking to pursue higher studies.
