About the Faculty

The Faculty of Business is the biggest faculty at UOWD, with over 1,500 students enrolling in 7 undergraduate and 7 postgraduate programs.

The Faculty's degree programs focus on preparing students to be effective managers at different levels. As such, the emphasis is on application of knowledge, skills and tools to practical problems in the workplace. The design of our programs allow substantial input from business, industry, professional bodies and, of course, alumni. Thus, our students not only benefit from a rigorous learning experience but also an extensive social and professional network.

The highly-qualified staff of the Faculty all have substantial teaching experience at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. They are active in research and consulting with business and industries, bringing cutting-edge research findings and contemporary business practices into the classroom. The work of our staff can be found in leading academic journals and are regularly presented at international conferences.
