Position

We are seeking a Telephonic Sales Team Leader who's  primary focus of this role is to maximize the conversion of perspective student leads to applications.  Reporting to the Student Recruitment Manager the Sales Team Leader will have overall responsibility of the Sales Team Day to day operations including establishing and maintaining effective standard operating procedures, maximizing the capabilities of the CRM, performance management, and monitoring, reporting and achievement of agreed KPI’s.  

  

Key areas of responsibility include but are not limited to the following:

  • Supervise and participate in the day-to-day activities of the Team establishing effective and efficient standard operating procedures to maximize the resources available to achieve targets. 
  • Working with the SRM to develop and implement tailored conversion strategies and targets, utilizing the full available functionality of the CRM system.  
  • Continuous monitoring and analyzing of data highlighting any material deviations to the Student Recruitment Manager along with suggestions to leverage any opportunities / mitigate any threats that may be apparent. 
  • Staff performance management ensuring alignment with the departmental and organizational goals and maximizing value creation of the overall Team and individual Team members.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative effective working relationships with the related Teams within the sales funnel.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of university key attributes, programs, services, and other related offerings and disseminate this to the Team.
Education and Experience

Essential

  • Tele-sales or Customer service team management experience in a call center environment
  • Experience in consultative tele-sales techniques.

 

Desirable:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing or relevant field
  • Experience in similar role in the higher education industry

 

Knowledge and Skills

Essential

  • General knowledge of higher education and/or recruitment and admissions experience
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
  • Motivated, goal oriented and proven ability to meet recruitment targets
  • Customer-service orientated and consultative approach to recruiting students
  • Knowledge of planning processes and issues
  • Experience with CRM platforms
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team

Desirable

  • Proficient in one or more of these languages: Arabic, Russian, Persian, French, Chinese, Spanish
