UOWD College is seeking applications to fill the position of Test Centre Deputy Administrator. 

The position of the Test Centre Deputy Administrator works in conjunction with the Test Centre Manager who is charged with the overall responsibly for security and integrity of the administration and running of IELTS tests (CD & PB) for the IDP: IELTS test Centre, AE109 & AE381 at UOWD. Also responsible for managing OET testing for CBLA; AE003 at UOWD. Coordinating with the Test Centre Manager, the position has a significant role and set of responsibilities directly related to day-to-day administration and operations, test day preparations, test day administration and post-test administration including PSN Management.

On IELTS and OET test days, the Test Centre Deputy Administrator assumes the test day role and responsibilities of the Test Centre Manager.

Under the supervision of the Test Centre Manager, he/she would complete all tasks directly related to the IELTS and OET standards and PSN in order to maintain quality delivery of exams and achieve the Centre’s test targets with a view of increasing AE109’s and AE381’s market share in Dubai, AD and Ras Al Khaimah.

ESSENTIAL

• Bachelor’s Degree in Office Management or IT or Business Administration
• IWAS \ IAM certified / experience is preferred
• 2 years minimum experience of working in an exam’s environment is preferred
• Customer centric approach
• Ability to manage difficult customers
• Strong stakeholder management
• Strong office management skills and ability to multitask
• Advanced level of computer technology skills: MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint and database systems.
• The successful applicant needs to display a high level of personal and professional integrity and confidentiality in handling test information and materials, combined with exceptional interpersonal skills
• The role requires multi-tasking and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• The ability to follow procedures with an eye for detail and ensure quality management
• The ability to follow instructions and adhere to procedural requirements.
• Strong communication skills are required for handling all the interdepartmental and external relationships
• Flexible to work on weekends and late shifts

 DESIRABLE

• Knowledge of the institutional structure of UOWD and IELTS would be an advantage.
• An interest in developing the full potential of IELTS through promotions and marketing.

The successful candidate will receive a remuneration package that ranges between AED 105,000 - AED 132,000 per annum,.

The package includes five weeks of paid leave per year, annual air ticket, private medical insurance for self and eligible dependents, life & disability policy, education allowance for up to 3 eligible children and professional development assistance.
