About the Position:

FRED & Registry Services are responsible for the University’s administration and policy implementation related to undergraduate and postgraduate (coursework and research) students. The team ensures that student processes are administered according to academic and administrative guidelines and that the administration of student processes complies with all policies and procedures of the University and works towards improving customer service for students and all key stakeholders. 

The position of Registry Officer (Timetabling and Student Systems) is a key operational coordination and technical position for the University.  It is crucial in ensuring that all aspects of the University’s timetabling activities including developing and implementing effective and efficient processes are managed effectively, accurately and respecting assigned deadlines. Other responsibilities include ensuring that the core student systems work as required and the access to and usage of student records is efficiently achieved by all relevant staff. Due to the nature of the role, the position holder is expected to be highly systematic in their approach to the role.

Essential Criteria:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience using student administration systems
  • Experience of using Syllabus Plus Classic and Enterprise for Timetabling in a complex environment.
  • A commitment to Values of Passion, Courage, Integrity, Exceptional, Collaboration and Creativity
  • Expert systems proficiency with the ability to oversee the use of multiple systems.
  • Expert spreadsheet (Excel) skills and the ability to develop databases to specification
  • Ability to meet compliance/policy requirements
  • Demonstrated attention to detail that relates to the timely, accurate processing of student administration requests.
  • Capable of working in a complex environment, with multiple stakeholders and the requirement to adhere to policies, procedures and rules.

Desirable:

  • Master’s Degree

Remuneration:

The successful candidates will receive a remuneration package which includes an attractive tax free salary ranging from AED 108,000 - AED 144,000 per annum, five weeks of paid leave per year, annual air ticket, private medical insurance for self and eligible dependents, life & disability policy, professional development assistance, education allowance for up to 3 eligible children, professional development and fee waiver for self and dependents looking to pursue higher studies.
