Position:

The position is responsible for engaging students in various activities, initiatives, programs and events, organizing on and off campus extracurricular events and developing and implementing policies and procedures for student activities, encourages students to be committed, enthusiastic about the student life at UOWD.

 Supporting the creation and delivery of the leadership program, assist in building relationships with external partners and focusing on programs and events that are designed to foster and strengthen the relationship between the University and its alumni by cultivating and maintain relationships with the alumni, relevant internal and external stakeholders.

The position will also be facilitating the graduation ceremonies while effectively managing the budget constraint and providing quality service to clients.

Key areas of responsibility include but are not limited to the following:

  • Project manage the development, enhancement and planning of student activities related to SEDO functions, programs and clubs, societies and activities.
  • Contribute to and coordinate the development, enhancement and planning of student leadership programs including Student Representative Council, and UOWDx Program.
  • Planning, implementation coordination and administration of services and programs which enhance the educational and social experience of all students.
  • Support and coordinate students, alumni engagement activities including graduation, Alumni and student engagement events and other events in consultation with the appropriate Senior Management, Suppliers and Venue.
  • Monitor, analyse issues, data, research and produce reports detailing projects, initiatives and operation matters, and create the results of feedback surveys from programs and services.
Education and Experience:

Essential:

  • Tertiary Qualification in relevant area
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar role
  • Working experience in the education industry and experience working in the UAE

Desirable

  • Experience working in University, Hospitality, Entertainment or Marketing/PR/Advertising industries
  • Experience working with different cultures and ages
