About the Department

The Faculty of Business is the largest faculty within the University of Wollongong in Dubai. It offers a range of academically balanced programmes to meet the needs of the various sectors of the economy. The Faculty offers undergraduate, postgraduate and Higher Degree Research programmes in a variety of disciplines, including Accounting, HR, Finance & Economics, Marketing, Management & Operations, and Innovation & Entrepreneurship among others. The qualified and experienced academics at the Faculty are dedicated to providing theoretical and practical knowledge of high standard in an intellectually stimulating environment. 

Requirements & Responsibilities

The Faculty of Business is seeking applications from experienced academics in the area of Human Resource Management. Candidates should have a PhD in a closely related field, from a recognised university. They should also have experience in teaching at Masters and PhD levels. Industry experience or involvement in executive education would also be beneficial.

Qualifications & Experience

• PhD in a relevant discipline from an AACSB accredited international academic institution.
• Teaching and learning experience at an AACSB accredited institution.
• A responsible researcher with outcomes including high-impact publications*, generation of research income and industry-research collaborations, with a focus on addressing societal challenges
• Experience in supervising Masters Research/Doctoral candidates.
• Fluency in the English language (both spoken and written).
