About the Department

The Student Recruitment & Admissions Department plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of our university by connecting with prospective students and showcasing the wealth of opportunities UOWD has to offer. The department also is committed to provide an end to end experience from contact to enrolment and onboarding students for a successful academic journey at UOWD.

About the Role

UOWD is seeking a Student Recruitment & Admissions Advisor to act as an expert and credible advisor to prospective students and parents on course offerings, student experience and employment potential through enrolment to a UOWD program of study, driving enquiries and leads. The incumbent will manage student relationship from contact to enrolment. Recruitment and university promotion activities in schools and events by Student Recruitment & Admissions Advisors will drive enquiries and leads to UOWD.  Advisors will be responsible for the conversion of qualified leads to enrolments through the outbound telephone calls, direct (fact-to-face), email and other electronic forms of contact. 

Some of the key accountabilities of the role are as below:

  • Execute direct conversion activities to drive conversion from qualified leads to applications, application to confirmation, and confirmed to enrolment via multiple platforms to reach enrolment goals and KPIs

  • Represent UOWD in school fairs, exhibitions, presentations and other student recruitment events in the UAE

  • Participate in developing and implementing domestic and International annual student recruitment plans

  • Guide and support prospective students and their parents through the enrolment process by applying a consultative sales approach

  • Conduct accurate evaluation of applicants’ credentials

  • Maintain strong business relationships with UOWD network of agents

  • Manage and follow up on potential students via phone, email, social media, and in person (including out/inbound calls)

  • To undertake such other duties as may be required from time to time by the Student Recruitment Manager

  • Actively demonstrate the UOW Global Enterprises Corporate Values (passion, innovation, integrity, collaboration, courage, excellence)

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 2 years of professional experience

  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills

  • Demonstrated experience working with CRM platforms

  • Customer-service orientated and consultative approach to recruiting students

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
